For Colleges
We appreciate the challenges faced by colleges in offering a range of social education during PHSE and health promotion events. SWEDA can provide a range of bespoke, holistic responses, to meet the students needs.
For example, sessions could include:
'What is an Eating Disorder and where can I get support?'
'Exploring the relationship between Social Media, self esteem and eating disorders'
'Challenging the role of advertising and the media in relation to body image'
Professional development support for school and college staff is also available, to ensure they feel confident in their abilities to respond to the needs of students affected by eating disorders. Quotes are available on request for these services.
