Emergency Contacts

Please note that SWEDA does not operate an emergency service. Our usual opening hours are 8am-8pm Monday-Thursday. If you call outside of these times, we may not be there to answer, but you can still leave us a voicemail message and we will get back to you.

IN CASE OF A MEDICAL EMERGENCY please call 999.

If you require support and you are unable to reach us, please try the following:

Community Mental Health Services

If you are already receiving support from mental health services, you should have a care plan. This will include details of your local Community Mental Health Team and who you should contact in a crisis. If in doubt, contact your GP.

Emotional support

If you feel that you need to talk to someone immediately for emotional support, then you may find a telephone support line useful.

“I had consistently been losing weight for more than 8 months and had become accustomed to eating very little. This triggered a return of my anorexia, after a 20-year period of recovery. SWEDA were able to offer me an appointment the very next day.
