Bulletin The SWEDA Bulletin

Somerset & Wessex Eating Disorders Association produce and publish a quarterly Bulletin containing information for sufferers and carers, details of SWEDA events and articles, stories and poems sent in by readers. The Bulletins are sent out as part of SWEDA's information pack and can be received regularly by filling out the mailing list request form contained within the information pack. Alternatively you could email your name and address to admin@swedauk.org saying that you'd like to be added to the SWEDA mailing list, and we will add you to the mailing list.

If you have any articles, stories or poems that you would like to be included in the Bulletin then please feel free to post or email them to Lyn here at SWEDA and please state whether you would like to be credited for the piece or would prefer to be anonymous. We would also welcome any feedback or ideas for future articles or anything else that you would like to see included.

Bulletin The SWEDA Newsletter

Paula, Somerset & Wessex Eating Disorders Association's Business Manager, produces a Newsletter to keep people informed of all things SWEDA. The Newsletter is posted in paper form and emailed out as well as being electronically published on this website (on the Leaflets Page) if you would like to be included on the Newsletter mailing list please email your details to paula@swedauk.org saying that you'd like to be added to the SWEDA Newsletter mailing list. Please note that this is seperate to the Bulletin mailing list.

Information Pack & Leaflets

Somerset & Wessex Eating Disorders Association produces a number of leaflets describing our services (as well as the Bulletin described above) and a number of others about Eating Disorders and related issues are currently in production.

You can get in touch with SWEDA to request an Information Pack containing leaflets and the Bulletin or you can view a number of our leaflets in online form on our Leaflets Page we will hopefully have an online Bulletin available soon as well.


Library The Resources Library

SWEDA has a small selection of eating disorders and related books, periodicals and cassettes in it's library which it is constantly updating. The library can be accessed during the drop-ins or by appointment and the resources may be borrowed for a time should you wish to do so.


 Training & Presentations

SWEDA offers training and support for those working in health and education, talks and presentations to any interested groups, and welcomes enquiries from students at all levels who want information for academic purposes. For more information about these services please contact us on the administration line (10am - 3pm each weekday).
