Do I dare look
I see my shadow on the wall
the sillohuete so dark comforts me
But the reflection that greets
is not one I long to see
Take a deep breth in
The coolness enters gently, filling my wounds
raise my bowed head so slowly
scared of what the mirror will say
As my eyes hit the surface
I feel the burning glare
like fire through my body
the pain I cannot bare
Turning away, eyes at the floor
My agony and hatred holds me in
letting the tears collect some more
Its my determination that pushes through
Something I want so desperatly
keeps me on this destructive path
Pain is forever haunting me
But its hot what I choose
The body staring back at me
one day may change
maybe then my lips will smile
but I know it wont be eternally
but please
if only for a while
