Eyes are Blind

If only you could see
the choas in my world
How everyday my soul bleeds
in its desperation for freedom
feels like it ceases to exist
like my happiness
Im torn in little pieces
some parts you can see
but the piece that is missing is me
I fail to show you my heartache
and the infinite tears I shed
even when I try I cannot suceed
Your eyes are blind to my thoughts
and do not filter through my worries
they do not percieve the guilt and greed
or know the power and abusive pain
You dont see this, not in a blink
because I am not the "typical" in society's eye
Not in the medical either, not anymore
I am no longer the fragile doll on the outside
What I appear to be is "normal"
Should know not to judge a book by its cover
as my story will tell
the title may seem simple
but get to chapter 2 before you stumble to hell
I wish I could let you know
maybe even feel my pain for a while
only in a nightmare, so you could wake
and be free
id never wish this torture on anyone
though someone may have on me
But just for the empathy and to know you understand
it would mean so much more
Instead I strive to lose, to be my small self again
to show you on the outside the agony I hold in
and maybe then I'll be important again
taken seriously
after all, if you're not "under" help's not needed
you're just a fake or a fraud
But I will carry on for the duration
Sweat out each painful day
Not sure what will happen
If I'll make you realise
I pray it'll turn around for the good
That we wont struggle with a cry for help
But the pain will be shown from the depth in our eyes
