BELIEVE

I believe that I do have control over this disease.
These were the main lyrics to my sad song.
I can stop this behavior whenever I please.
This is when it all took a turn for the wrong.

Here I sit with no answers.
I myself don't know what to do.
This world is full of disease and cancers.
And I myself posess one too.

It is a neverending battle.
Each day you promise you will stop.
You say you'll jump back on the saddle.
Each day you say you'll rise back to the top.

But each day you fall,
just like the last.
Each day you say your fed up with it all.
Each day you say that this is all in the past.

You soon realize that each day is a lie.
Please do wake up from this bad dream.
You tell yourself that you'll try and try.
But right after this large tub of ice cream.

You do deserve better than this.
Believe that you can do it.
You do deserve happiness and bliss.
You can escape this deep, dark pit

Believe that your mind and body can mend.
Believe that this is the beginning of the end.
