Eating Disorders and Pregnancy

Volunteers needed

I am studying for MSc Counselling Psychology at Roehampton University.

I am looking for women that have experiences of an eating disorder and have had a child.
The study will explore the experience of pregnancy and its impact on body image, eating disorder symptoms and women’s identity.

What will taking part involve?

One hour telephone interview to explore these experiences.

You will be asked a number of questions surrounding this topic and I appreciate that people may find this difficult and/or distressing. I also understand that when an individual is particularly struggling with an eating disorder they may find participating in this research much more distressing, therefore it is important to consider whether it may be the right time to explore these issues.

All information will be treated confidentially
You can withdraw from the study at any time, without giving a reason.

Volunteer Criteria
  • You are Female
  • You have experience of an eating disorder
