I am a mature student studying psychology and am doing a research project on bulimia in men and how society and the media tend to just see eating disorders as a young females problem.

I would be grateful if any men who have had or are bulimic or women who know men who have bulimia, would be willing to reply to me and answer a few questions about their experience of having an eating disorder. I would not use any names and it would be confidential and just to get an idea of whether men have similar reasons to women for developing bulimia, did they find it hard to get treatment, what helps to deal with an eating disorder and any improvements they would like to see to the medical profession or society in treating men with eating disorders.
