Attachment styles in mother-daughter relationship; A transgenerational perspective

My name is Charlotte Boel and I am a student at the London Metropolitan University, studying towards a MSc in counselling psychology. In connection with my dissertation, I am looking for respondees to complete  questionnaires and return them (a stamp addressed envelope is provided). Participants must be mothers and daughters.The girls must be between 16 and 25 and have a clinical diagnosis of anorexia nervosa.

One questionnaire will be looking at different attachment styles and is for the daughters to fill out. Another two questionnaires (one for the mother and one for the daughter) will be looking at degree of parental acceptance-rejecting as expereinced by both mothers and daughters'. 

My piece of research is looking at different attachment styles in mother-daughter relationship and in particular it will be looking at transgenerational transmission of attachment styles. 

Much research have been done into attachment styles and eating disorders, but so far there is only partial knowledge of how different attachment representations actually are transmitted wihin a mother-daughter relationship.

The research will commence the 1st. of April 2005 and finish around the 1st of August 2005. I do need alot of people in order to do this piece of research, therefore your help will be much appriciated.
